Succession Ecology was engaged to provide ecological support for a project dedicated to improving tidal connection on a private property near Webb Beach, SA.

Services included:

  • On-ground survey and ArcGIS mapping of Bead Glasswort (Tecticornia flabelliformis), a nationally vulnerable samphire species.
  • Native vegetation management plan to support an NVC clearance application required to facilitate tidal reconnection.
  • Landscape management plan to comply with conditions of the Emissions Reduction Fund.
  • EPBC Self-assessment to evaluate the risks posed by the project to Matters of National Environmental Significance, including Bead Glasswort.
